Hot off the grill
Angie Torres turns over shish kebabs made up of pork, chicken and kielbasa, along with plantains and fresh vegetables, at a fundraiser Thursday for the Iglesia Santidad y Fuego Church at 1 Reid St., Amsterdam. According to the Rev. Louis Torres, the fundraiser was held to aid in the church's goal to purchase the First Reformed Church at 124 Center St., Amsterdam.
