Removing the fuser assembly (above diag 1 of 4)
Remove three screws from the left fuser plate and
remove it.

Replace the Fuser Assembly
Step 1:
Separate the scanner from the printer and remove the left side door,
back cover, and printer top cover
Step 2:
Remove two screws from the right fuser support plate.
Step
3:
Remove a third screw from behind the large gear on
the right fuser plate and remove it.
Note:You can access the third screw through the holes in the
69T gear.
If you need to realign the 69T gear, you must first remove the
pressure roller gear. Release the tab and remove the
pressure roller gear.

Remove three screws from the left fuser plate and
remove it.

Remove two screws, one from each side of the printer.

Step 6:
Unplug
the fuser cable connector by pressing and
releasing the tab on the back of the connector.
Step 7:
Unplug five smaller cable connectors from the ECU
and unwind the cables from the fuser assembly.
Step 8:
Unplug the spade connector.
Step 9:
Remove one screw from the paper-delivery sensor,
and lift out the paper-delivery sensor.
Step 10:
Gently lift out the fuser assembly.

To reinstall the fuser
Remove the large gear from the end of the fuser assembly, return the
fuser assembly to the chassis, and replace the large gear.
